This year’s annual juvenile law seminar will provide a juvenile dependency appellate update and take a look at legal ethics that arise when representing minors. Special guest presenter Judge William A. Thorne, Jr., Utah Court of Appeals, will provide an in-depth look at the ICWA, including the Act’s history and purpose, how and why ICWA is different from current practice, and going beyond simple compliance with best practices.
